Ford recalls 2024: Check the list of models recalled this year

Several recalls were issued in 2024 for Ford Motor Company vehicles.

The recall report data is from Jan. 1, 2024, to Dec. 27, 2024. The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) compiles data from the National Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recalls by automobile manufacturers.

USA TODAY reached out to Ford for comment.

“We’re constantly working to improve vehicle quality and deliver the best experience for our customers. Voluntary recalls are one way we protect customers from known safety problems,” Maria Buczkowski, a spokesperson for Ford, said in a statement. “We have more work to do, but compared with 2023, about 22% fewer recall notifications were sent to Ford customers compared to 2024, and the number is down by 45% from 2022.”

USA TODAY’s automotive recall database tracks car recalls by the manufacturer. The recalls that are posted on the webpage are from the NHTSA’s database. In addition, the NHTSA website allows you to find car recalls by a vehicle’s identification number or VIN.
