But, have users changed their behavior? They’re starting to, according to Rob Francis, chief technology officer for the online travel agency.
“Increasingly, there’s more confidence in people to have AI be part of the journey of travel,” Francis said in an interview with Skift. “We see that more than half of the travelers that we’ve talked to are willing to take gen AI summarizations or gen AI recommendations. And that wasn’t the case, necessarily, when we rolled out the AI trip planner as a starting point.”
