Firefighters Hose Down Flames at Multimillion-Dollar Malibu Home


The Palisades fire has been rapidly spreading in Los Angeles County, burning through numerous homes along the Malibu coast between Tuesday, January 7, and Wednesday, January 8.

This footage from Annestacia Komarovsk shows firefighters from Los Angeles and Orange counties attempting to put out a fire at a high-end home along the Pacific Coast Highway on Wednesday.

As of Wednesday at 3 pm, the Palisades fire had burned 15,832 acres (6,407 hectares) and remained zero percent contained, according to Cal Fire.

Cal Fire confirmed 300 structures had been destroyed so far, while 13,306 remained threatened.
