Finished in its factory-correct #67 Burgundy Mist Poly, the GS 400 Stage 1 was Buick’s no-nonsense answer to the horsepower wars of the late 1960s. Beneath the hood is the model’s signature 400-cubic-inch V8, upgraded with the Stage 1 performance package, which included larger valves, a higher-lift camshaft, and a recalibrated carburetor and distributor.
